Whilst we were not able to get the painting workshops done on time for the schools festival, much of the community development is about the development of the relationships and the connections made to further the project. With this in mind I went along to the schools festival day and caught up with the young people and discussed the where to from here- and we have developed together a way to have the art workshops ago ahead.

One of the items on sale is a guitar owned by the rolling stones- very impressive as a donation for the auction
The day had a great feel of environmentally friendly feel - lots of stalls re green friendly, community gardens, solar, carbon reduction- very interesting. As well as the charity for women overseas that the girls at the school support and raise money for on an on going basis.

The day has many things to do- include drinks for the adults- a way to raise money, and second hand books to purchase
